Game, Narrative, Level Designer and UI artist

DESCRIPTION

Being particular fans of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise and players of Dead By Daylight, together with Roman Cossiaux--Chastan, we decided to do a two-man project in which we made a complete concept of the license's integration into the game. Completed in a week, we did our utmost to immerse ourselves as Behaviour Interactive employees, and to go into as much detail as possible on the various features.

Game Design

 

The main challenge as Game Designer was learning all Dead By Daylight core gameplay and create something new and perfectly accurate to the license and the base video game.

Narrative Design

Five Nights at Freddy's is known for its story that isn't told directly. But with the recent release of the movie, we adapted the DBD x FNAF lore according to the movie with  elements from the original video game that wasn't in the movie. So, we 

- Killer lore according to theories

- Survivors lore according to the movie​​​​​​

Level Design

 

With Springtrap as new killer, we couldn't do the concept without the mythic Fazbear's Fright from FNAF 3. We based on game's map and place lore elements to conserve environmental storytelling. The level design remains incorrect, given the limited information we had on their map design methods but, based on existing maps, we tried to transliterate gameplay elements such as loop, generator placements, hiding elements and exit doors. 

UI Art

To give more credibility to the concept, I design every icon of the game concept based on lore elements and adapting them to the gameplay.
